Amelia is based in Wellington, New Zealand and takes a limited number of travel bookings per year.

HOW IT WORKS

Before the wedding: Prior to the wedding, I will consult with you about your preferences. This will include deciding which scene you would like painted (vows, first kiss, ceremony exit etc), and any specific features you would like to include.

On the day: I will arrive to your wedding venue a couple of hours before your ceremony to set-up and begin my preliminary sketching and painting in the background. During the ceremony I will take photos of the couple to use as reference for the remainder of the painting. Whilst I am painting, guests are encouraged to come and chat, ask questions, and see the work as it progresses throughout the evening. At the end of the night, your painting will be mostly finished, before coming home with me.

After the wedding: Your painting will come back to my studio where I will add finishing touches and extra details. From there, we will organise transporting your piece of art to its new home!

TRAVEL

Lower North Island: All packages include travel to venues within approximately 50km of Paraparaumu. If your venue is further away in the region, a mileage fee will apply, which will be quoted prior to booking.
Mid/upper North Island and South Island: I take a limited number of NZ-wide travel bookings per year. To cover mileage/flights, accomodation, rental car, and time, these bookings incur a travel fee starting at $1800. An exact travel quote can be given for your location upon enquiry.

BOOKING

Please use the form at the bottom of this page to enquire about your date or ask any questions you may have.
If you choose to proceed with the booking, I ask for a 50% deposit to secure your date, with the remainder due one month before your wedding.
